Global Missions

Bronson United Methodist Church supports the following international ministries and has helped to send missionaries around the world to countries including Israel, Guatemala, Namibia, Northern Ireland, Uganda, Haiti, and Mexico. Members have participated in mission trips and found that the trips increased ther awareness of the many needs of others in impoverished areas and gave us great opportunities to share God's love in action.

UMCOR - The United Methodist Committee on Relief

UMCOR is a ministry of The United Methodist Church through the General Board of Global Ministries, and our goal is to assist the most vulnerable persons affected by crisis or chronic need without regard to their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. We believe all people have God-given worth and dignity. UMCOR’s work includes programs and projects in disaster response, health, sustainable agriculture, food security, relief supplies, and more. Some members of the Bronson United Methodist Church joined UMCOR's relief efforts in Biloxi, MS, after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
