Local Missions

There are many ways to reach out to others right here in the Bronson community. On this page, find out how you can be an expression of Jesus' love today.
Prayer

Prayer is central to our faith as believers in Christ. As Jesus daily spent time in prayer and the scriptures urge us to pray without ceasing, we are called to prayer as His disciples. You are welcome to pray before our services and ask for prayer anytime.

Visitation

We can express Jesus' love in real time by visiting people in our community who need encouragement, prayer, or simply to know someone cares. You can be that someone.  You don't have to be a pastor or have all the answers to lift someone's spirits. Ask how you can be part of

Breakfast

Every Sunday morning at 8:30am, we host a breakfast open to all with delicious hot food and Bible teaching. We have been able to meet many new people and build relationships in the community.

Thrift Shop

When we first opened our Thrift Shop, we had no idea how important it would become in the community -- only that God was leading us to do so. Now a year later, we have been blessed to overflowing and in turn able to bless others in many ways. We have a wide variety of items and clothing for every occasion — maybe even that next job interview. People can find what they have been looking for and stretch their dollars. The Thrift Shop is open Fridays and Saturdays 9am-1pm.

Food Pantry

In these difficult economic times, the Food Pantry has been a valuable resource in the community for several years. At 12 noon on the first Thursday of the month, we pack food items to be distributed the following day at 9am. This year the food pantry has assisted 977 families and 2,108 people with necessary food stuffs.

Food 4 Kids Backpack Program

Some of our members working in local schools discovered that many of their students had much more need than an education. The students found studying difficult when they were lacking basic nutrition at home. The Food 4 Kids Backpack Program began filling backpacks on the weekends for needy students. Just $6 feeds a child all weekend! If you like to shop, you may also donate food items such as canned pasta, soups, vegetables, and meats; juice boxes; instant oatmeal, breakfast bars, cereal; snacks like raisins, pretzels, crackers, and granola; macaroni & cheese; peanut butter & jelly; and fruit and pudding cups.
